My name is Francesco Zaccagnini, and I work as a Web Designer in Brescia.

I believe that when working with a freelance professional, it’s important to understand who they are, why they do what they do, and what skills they possess. This helps clients determine if the professional is truly competent and ready to meet their needs.

That’s why I’ve created this small space on my website to tell you a bit about myself and my work.

A few words about me:

I’m a human being, and I want to emphasize that. Some people see freelance professionals as client-hungry agencies without principles.

I’m not that kind of person. I love the human connection with clients, getting to know them, and meeting their needs. I communicate clearly and calmly, qualities that reflect my precise and meticulous nature. I love doing things right, there’s no denying that.

I have a 360-degree understanding of the web, which is a significant advantage in my work. I enjoy staying informed about the latest trends and providing my clients with up-to-date solutions. Falling behind is not my style.

My journey

My career began in 2006 at a well-known publishing company in Brescia, where I handled IT administration and infrastructure management (maintenance and management of mail servers, Active Directory, Domain servers, WMware) and Windows client management, as well as mail server and client maintenance.

Many might find this work boring, and who can blame them?

My true passion has always been the web, with its content, colors, and secrets. I realized early on that the internet would offer more and more opportunities to businesses and professionals, so I started studying the fundamentals of Web Design and using major CMS platforms like WordPress, Joomla, and Prestashop.

I began creating websites for acquaintances, just to hone my skills, but it was clear that the work I produced was truly beautiful and functional. Initially, I didn’t listen to those who encouraged me to start my own business as a web designer. I left for Australia and then New Zealand, where I stayed for four years before returning to Italy.

Since 2017, I’ve worked in the IT department of a company specializing in workplace safety training, managing various portals and websites, providing client support, and using the LMS (Learn Management System) platform.

However, the desire to challenge myself was always there. In 2021, I gathered the courage to enter the world of web design, but this time, I did it as an independent professional. It was the best decision I’ve made in recent years.
